This hybrid role designs and operates high-scale data pipelines that process billions of events daily, and builds data applications that support analytics, machine learning models, and real-time reporting at scale. You will work with cutting-edge technologies in distributed systems, big data, and ML, and collaborate with Bing Ads stakeholders to translate requirements into robust system designs. Responsibilities include designing and implementing features with efficiency, extensibility, reliability, and maintainability; ensuring security and quality through code reviews; operating live services with on-call rotations; improving developer tools and automating deployment; and profiling and optimizing distributed systems to meet online serving requirements. Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of engineering experience (or equivalent), proficiency in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python; and Azure experience.
