Overview Microsoft Security defends Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Account from fraud and abuse. We build scalable cloud services using machine learning and other advanced technologies to detect and block fraudulent activity in online and offline modes. Our platform supports Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, Outlook, Azure, and millions of enterprise users by keeping identities and data safe.

Responsibilities - Design and develop large-scale distributed software services and data tools that transform, manage, and provide access to data efficiently. - Build and maintain tools for detecting and blocking accounts, applications, and other entities involved in fraudulent activity. - Develop and apply reputation models for entities; design and integrate machine learning models into production systems to identify and block abuse patterns, delivering real-time protection. - Enforce modern software engineering practices through design reviews; design systems with well-defined interfaces across components; use telemetry to drive decisions. - Create modular, secure, reliable, diagnosable services that are actively monitored and reusable. - Collaborate with teams across Microsoft to deliver customer-facing features; align with customer and partner needs using a data-driven approach. - Improve test coverage, implement integration tests, and resolve problem areas; troubleshoot and optimize automation, reliability, and monitoring for LiveSite; debug production issues quickly to minimize customer impact. - Embody Microsoft values of respect, integrity, accountability, and inclusion.
