The successful candidate will assist project managers with day-to-day operations at the job site, coordinate with trade partners and homeowners, and help ensure tasks are executed efficiently. This role provides an on-the-job path to becoming a Construction Project Manager and involves training with 2–4 Project Managers. Daily duties include coordinating material deliveries, following up on requests, responding to trade partner questions, and performing field-related tasks such as site cleanup and material handling. The Assistant Project Manager will pull work from PMs as capacity allows and will work in the field on job sites daily. Requirements include the ability to lift up to 30 pounds, a valid driver's license, and the stamina to be on your feet for extended periods. Responsibilities also cover installing and maintaining dust protection, keeping the job site clean, coordinating dumpsters and porta-johns, running tasks to Home Depot and other suppliers, updating Builder Trend with logged hours and photos, and supporting the project management team in meetings. Qualifications include a high school diploma and 0–3 years of experience, strong problem-solving and organizational skills, excellent customer service, professional written and verbal communication, reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently with a proactive, flexible attitude. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction software, or the ability to learn quickly, is preferred.
