This is an on-site role based in Cupertino, California, United States. Apple Service Engineering (ASE) teams build and scale the platforms and infrastructure behind many of Apple’s services, and we are seeking a passionate Technical Lead to drive SRE standards and engineering excellence across the Apple Data Platform (ADP) organization. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer in the ADP SRE group, you will apply SRE principles, mentor engineers, and partner with multiple teams to ensure large-scale analytics infrastructure runs reliably and efficiently. You will define reliability standards, maintain architectural consistency, and raise engineering excellence across peer SREs and partner engineering teams—spanning Hadoop, HBase, Spark, Data Lakes, and Airflow—through technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the development of platform-wide tooling, observability, and operational practices that elevate the reliability bar for ADP. The role includes production on-call responsibilities.
