About the role

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a GI Specialty Sales Representative (Pharma) to drive sales of the GI portfolio within an assigned East Texas territory (from Tyler to Longview and surrounding communities). This role is not located in Dallas, Texas and does not cover Dallas. The GI Specialty Sales Representative will be responsible for the sales performance of the full GI portfolio, executing marketing strategies, and growing relationships with key decision makers and influencers. Focused detailing to targeted targets with a defined messaging strategy and evidence-based, outcomes-driven solutions will support the GI platform. The role will also collaborate with appropriate IDN hospital personnel regarding transition of care and discharge protocols.

Responsibilities

Focus on growth among GI/Critical Care target specialists and new accounts; meet/exceed sales and profit objectives in assigned accounts.
Educate targeted healthcare providers on the benefits of a novel GI therapy within the assigned territory.
Understand the GI healthcare environment and execute the selling process in a concise, compliant, professional, and persuasive manner that addresses needs and leads to action.
Develop and communicate deep scientific understanding of GI disorders and products within the GI marketplace; stay informed about competitive products.
Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and key opinion leaders in the GI community.
Develop and implement a territory-specific business plan and utilize available resources to foster a successful sales environme
