About the role The Prime Video Personalization and Discovery team builds data-driven frameworks to optimize content discovery and personalization. We are seeking a customer-focused, solutions-oriented Data Scientist to help build models and insights that determine what millions of customers see when they log in to Prime Video. You will be part of an embedded science team working on fast-paced projects that influence the entertainment experience across devices worldwide.

About the role The Prime Video Personalization and Discovery team builds data-driven frameworks to optimize content discovery and personalization. We are seeking a customer-focused, solutions-oriented Data Scientist to help build models and insights that determine what millions of customers see when they log in to Prime Video. You will be part of an embedded science team working on fast-paced projects that influence the entertainment experience across devices worldwide.
Responsibilities - Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to extract insights from large-scale data - Design and implement end-to-end data science workflows, from data acquisition and cleaning to model development, testing, and deployment - Build datasets for analytics, reporting, and ML use cases to enable scalable self-service analyses - Partner with product stakeholders and senior scientists to identify data-driven opportunities to improve the customer experience - Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders - Stay up-to-date with the latest data science tools, techniques, and best practices and help evangelize them across the organization
Basic qualifications - Master\'s degree and 3+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), or statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab) - 2+ years of data science experience - 3+ years of experience with machine learning or statistical modeling - Bachelor\'s degree
Preferred qualifications - Experience in Python, P
