Technical Support Specialist (On-site) — Daikin. The HVAC Service Support Specialist provides technical support to contractors, distributors, engineers, and end users for Daikin’s US domestic product lines. It delivers pre- and post-sales technical support, including equipment troubleshooting and applications assistance via telephone and email.

Responsibilities

Knowledge and skills:

Provide prompt and courteous responses to calls to the Technical Support Center.
Provide pre- and post-sales technical support via telephone and email.
Assist representatives, distributors, and contractors in troubleshooting and applying Daikin equipment, including connection ratios, capacity derates, and equipment selection.
May conduct virtual modeling for troubleshooting and provide resolutions.
Log all calls and incidents in the CRM, tracking information by customer, model number, and project.
Provide submittal drawings, wiring diagrams, capacity tables, clearances, piping recommendations, or other information from Daikin literature on request.
Assist the Manager in distributing field visit and training requests to the appropriate Daikin Service Representative.
Follow up on customer inquiries to ensure job completion and satisfaction.
Provide selection software support.
Explain control-related questions and related inquiries.
Undertake additional projects or duties to support ongoing business needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse client groups.
Ability to troubleshoot in-depth service issues via phone.
