Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan, Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Afternoon Engineering Manager to oversee the maintenance and operation of resort facilities during the afternoon and evening hours. This hands-on leadership role collaborates with the Chief Engineer to keep buildings, guest rooms, grounds, and mechanical systems safe, efficient, and operating to the highest standards. What You'll Do: - Oversee daily engineering operations across the resort; supervise, train, coach, and support the engineering team. - Coordinate preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime. - Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building systems. - Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests with exceptional customer service. - Assist with capital improvement projects, renovations, and facility upgrades. - Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety regulations, fire prevention programs, and environmental standards. - Monitor inventory, equipment, tools, and maintenance supplies. - Assist with scheduling staff and assigning daily work priorities. - Maintain engineering operations at both the resort and employee housing facilities. - Communicate regularly with the Chief Engineer regarding department operations and property needs. - Serve as Manager on Duty when assigned. - Perform other engineering and maintenance duties as needed to support resort operations.
