About the role

Recourse, built in partnership with 25M Health, is creating the first intelligent system to automate the operating cadence of healthcare claim resolutions. We are a small, nimble team that moves quickly and values clarity over theater. This on-site, San Francisco-based role will own the operating layer of the company and report to the CEO.

What you’ll do: - Own the product roadmap and the calls about what we build next and why - Own the operating cadence: goals, weekly rhythm, throughput and quality metrics, what gets tracked and what gets ignored - Run the loop between claims operations and engineering, turning real-world friction into shipped product quickly - Write specs that engineers build against - Own customer launches end to end, expanding our anchor health systems across facilities and service lines - Build and grow the operations team as volume increases - Push the automation rate. Every claim handled manually is a claim the system should have handled - Be a genuine second voice on strategy, not an executor of someone else

Who you are: - You’ve built something before. Ideally you’ve founded a company, been early at one, or owned a P&L - You are AI-pilled. You’ve used AI tools to do work that would have taken a team and you stay current on the next shift - You have strong operational common sense and can turn messy processes into clean systems - You have technical fluency and are comfortable with data, able to query systems and move work forward with engineers - You have a bias to action and a preference for speed of iteration over polish - You are intellectually
