Responsibilities

Qualifications:

Design ISO/OSI layer 2 and 3 communication protocols for modern secure communications systems
Implement, integrate and test the developed protocols in real-world system environments
Collaborate in cross-functional teams on product development of modern communication methods and contribute to international cooperation and consortium projects
Apply software engineering methods and modern development practices such as agile processes and continuous integration
Analyze complex requirements and evaluate technical solution concepts for safety-critical communication systems
Drive the evolution of protocol architectures for encrypted data transmission
Degree in computer science or information technology or a comparable qualification
Experience in protocol software development, ideally for ISO/OSI layers 2 and 3
Proficiency in C++ and Python or similar language
Familiar with modern software engineering tools for implementation, integration and testing
Structured work style, strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking; teamwork, communication skills and a high willingness to learn
Good German and English language skills
