Development Manager - Java and Full-Stack | Telecom, Media & Entertainment, Île-de-France
Sopra Steria, a major European technology company with about 51,000 employees across nearly 30 countries, is looking for a Development Manager to lead Java and full-stack development for Telecom, Media & Entertainment projects in the Île-de-France region. You will validate inputs, designs and estimates; ensure best practices and quality across technical deliverables; coordinate development activities with internal and external stakeholders; guarantee automated testing and maintain technical documentation. You will share technical knowledge within the team, act as a bridge for the communities, support developers with code reviews, and ensure the proper operation of the CI/CD pipeline. You will assess each team member’s capabilities and assign challenges accordingly. Tech stack includes Java, JEE, Spring, Angular, Jenkins, PostgreSQL, Oracle and MongoDB.

Qualifications: at least 5 years of experience leading a development team, experience in application design with client interaction, solid experience with a continuous integration chain (Jenkins or GitLab) and branch/merge management, strong knowledge of Sonar quality metrics and application security. Proactive and autonomous, you can seek information or escalate when needed. A Bac +5 (engineering school or university) or equivalent is required.
