Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a Principal / Sr. Principal Cloud Engineer to maintain and enhance capabilities for DAF CLOUDworks at the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) in Rome, New York. DAF CLOUDworks is a rapidly growing secure cloud program that spans more than ten teams, covering cloud engineering areas such as information security, infrastructure development, and cloud migration. The successful candidate will be an active member of one of these teams, providing technical support to customers leveraging DAF CLOUDworks, and working through operations and sustainment to modify and enhance offerings, implement new requirements, improve functionality, increase efficiency, and lower deployment costs.

Basic Qualifications: - Principal Engineer (level 3): high school diploma with 9+ years of relevant experience OR a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience OR a master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience - Sr. Principal Engineer (level 4): high school diploma with 12+ years of relevant experience OR a bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience OR a master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience - An active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI), or an i
