Foundry Commercial is seeking a Property Accountant to maintain accounting records and prepare monthly financial statements for a portfolio of real estate assets. The role works closely with accounting leadership, property managers, lease administration advisory team, and fellow client services accountants. After an initial training period, this is a hybrid role that includes working in the downtown Orlando office and provides the opportunity to work remotely. Essential Job Functions: - Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and annual reporting packages for real estate assets in the portfolio; - Perform monthly journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations; - Assist in reviewing budgets annually for real estate assets; - Prepare and file monthly property sales tax returns, including reconciliations of sales tax assets and liabilities; - Review year-end reconciliations for tenant CAM, taxes, and insurance prorations; - Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts for unusual activity and collaborate with the real estate manager to resolve issues promptly; - Analyze and prepare journal entries related to property acquisitions and dispositions; - Assist with client audit requirements, if applicable; - Other tasks as needed (posting receipts and charges, uploading budgets, etc.).
