ASRC Federal is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Security Engineer to join the Blossom Point Tracking Facility (BPTF) in Welcome Acres, Maryland. Responsibilities include leading the technical team that will support integration of new missions into the baseline, planning system upgrades, resolving issues, and adding new capabilities to the infrastructure; acting as the primary interface with the Cyber Security team for Authority To Operate accreditations; applying standard requirements definition processes for new or expanded projects; identifying and managing risks on new and existing projects; conducting trade studies on new technologies for ground system architecture; creating and updating wiring diagrams, flow charts, and other documentation; troubleshooting and coordinating repairs for ground system issues; using test equipment such as oscilloscopes or spectrum analyzers; and assisting the RF Technical Team with upgrades and troubleshooting of large aperture antennas. Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field, and 15 years of experience or 20 years of relevant work experience; a minimum of 5 years experience with satellite command and control systems; knowledge of satellite/spacecraft ground systems including RF, digital signal processing, etc.; a minimum of 5 years' experience with cryptographic equipment and networks (e.g., KG7, KG17, KG777); current Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
