Overview This is a local, hybrid position based in Salt Lake City. The University of Utah Health seeks a senior engineering leader to drive the design, development, and integration of information technology solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The role requires residing in the Salt Lake City area or willingness to relocate.
Responsibilities - Serve as the senior developer within the ServiceNow team to lead and improve development activities on the platform. - Analyze and evaluate existing systems with minimal oversight; define problems, data requirements, reports, and system designs. - Design, configure, and develop custom applications and advanced software modules; apply scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub) following standard practices. - Design and develop integrations (REST/SOAP, JSON/XML) using Integration Hub and MID Server where applicable. - Apply SDLC concepts and Agile methodologies; collaborate within a team to enhance the platform. - Define system requirements and program specifications; translate business needs into technical solutions. - Lead the team on technical issues; mentor staff and unify technical skills across the group. - Work with application teams to design web-based solutions that meet business requirements and production standards, partnering with architects, data modelers, and developers. - Ensure performance and reliability of applications from development to production; manage object changes across test environments and production. - Install, migrate,
