We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen Copper's security posture through the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of security controls, identity services, cloud security solutions, and governance processes. This hands-on role requires close collaboration with technology, infrastructure, and business teams to lead initiatives that protect Copper's systems, data, and digital assets, and to enhance security capabilities across identity and access management, cloud platforms, endpoint security, vulnerability management, automation, and security monitoring. You will ensure controls remain effective, scalable, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements, and you will influence security best practices across the organization. Key responsibilities include IAM design and maintenance (Microsoft Entra ID, Entra Identity Governance, AWS IAM Identity Centre), managing permissions and access controls; configuring and analyzing security systems to meet industry standards and benchmarking against CIS, STIG, SOC2; maintaining security tool inventories across cloud, endpoint, identity, and network domains and partnering with vendors and stakeholders; acting as a trusted security advisor on architecture, risk reduction, and regulatory compliance; leading vulnerability management across cloud, endpoints, SaaS, and identity platforms using tools such as Wiz, Microsoft Defender, and ArmorCode;
