About the role
dokSAFE GmbH, a Leipzig-based software company specializing in ACTAPORT, a SaaS solution for law firms, is seeking a Product Owner (m/f/d). You will be responsible for the continued development of ACTAPORT from requirements gathering through backlog prioritization to release. You translate legal and regulatory requirements into concrete product design and ensure that what we build is actually used.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Own the evolution of our law firm software from concept to release while balancing user needs, regulatory requirements, and the product vision.
- Capture requirements from clients and regulators, analyze them, and translate them into practical, user-centered features.
- Serve as a close sparring partner for the development team to clarify questions, sharpen scope, communicate priorities, and quickly remove blockers.
- Maintain and prioritize the Product Backlog and guide the development process in close collaboration with the team using agile methods (e.g., Scrum).
- Present product progress to stakeholders, assist with quality assurance, and provide clear feedback on acceptance criteria.
- Document new features and train colleagues and customers as needed.
- A degree in law, business administration, IT, or a comparable qualification; a strong understanding of legal processes and user needs.
- CSPO or PSPO 1 certification.
- Structured, detail-oriented, and self-driven with a strong sense of UI/UX.
- Interest in digital trends, AI, and Legal Tech; technical affinity for cloud software.
