SumUp is seeking a Junior People Operations Partner for a one-year fixed-term contract based in Sofia, Bulgaria. You will join the People Ops & Payroll Eastern Europe team and own day-to-day administration for SumUp Bulgaria, serving as a reliable point of contact for employees and managers as we scale. What you will do: - Manage employee lifecycle processes end-to-end—from hiring and onboarding documentation through contract changes, absences, and offboarding. - Keep employee data accurate and up to date in Workday, ensuring readiness for audits and compliance checks. - Support the monthly payroll cycle by collecting, validating, and submitting payroll inputs on time, coordinating with our external payroll provider. - Handle routine employee and manager queries with a service mindset, escalating more complex cases when needed. - Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and data quality routines, including identifying automation opportunities.
