Great Bear is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team in Harworth, United Kingdom. This role supports the financial performance of the operation by delivering accurate and timely management information to the General Manager, operational teams, finance colleagues, and senior leadership. The successful candidate will produce insightful financial reporting and analysis to drive informed business decisions across multiple customer contracts and sites.

Key responsibilities: - Produce weekly costings and financial reports for multiple customer contracts and sites - Prepare monthly management accounts, including journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis - Support customer invoicing, credit control, supplier payments, and cash flow forecasting - Assist with monthly review packs, budgets, and quarterly forecasts - Produce internal reports and provide finance support on ad hoc projects and business initiatives - Support the wider finance team with administrative tasks and process improvement activities

Qualifications: - Part-qualified Accountant (AAT, CIMA, ACCA, ACA) - Proven attention to detail and analytical approach - Strong Excel skills; proficient with MS Word and Power BI - A questioning and enquiring approach with a desire to seek more efficient methods for accurate financial data - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; willing to share knowledge and improvements - Hard working, flexible, and committed to meeting deadlines; team player - Good communicator at all levels -
