About the role
Multiverse Computing is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its rapidly growing, deep-tech team based in San Sebastián, Spain. The company develops quantum software and AI-powered solutions, including CompactifAI and Singularity, and collaborates with Fortune 500 customers across government and private sectors. In this role you will join a world-class team of quantum and AI experts, contribute to our cutting-edge compression tool, and tackle high-value open problems from industry. You will take on technical leadership and collaborate with software engineers, DevOps, MLOps, and quantum experts to industrialize Multiverse's core technologies.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Design and implement production-grade software under real load, following clean architecture, SOLID principles, testability, and maintainability.
- Contribute to API design, layered architectures, and event-driven patterns; write code that stands the test of time.
- Ensure security best practices: input validation, secret management, dependency auditing, container hardening, and secure API design.
- Work with containerized deployment (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide technical leadership, perform code reviews, mentor mid-level engineers, and collaborate across teams (MLOps, DevOps, Platform Engineering).
- Required: track record in software engineering; experience designing and implementing production-grade software; strong understanding of architecture, patterns, API design, and security; Docker and CI/CD experience.
