About the role

BYD is seeking a Team Lead Dealer Network Development to strengthen our German dealer network. In this key leadership role, you will report to the Director Network Development Germany and oversee the operational management and ongoing development of the Dealer Network Development team. You will focus on guiding and developing the team, ensuring the efficient execution of our expansion strategy in day to day business. You will set clear priorities, create transparency, develop your colleagues, and ensure shared goals are achieved. You will collaborate closely with the Director Network Development Germany, contribute ideas for continuous improvement, and independently lead select strategic projects and major dealer partnerships.

Responsibilities include: professional and disciplinary leadership, steering and development of the Dealer Network Development team, prioritization, tracking, and performance management of all acquisition activities to achieve expansion targets; coaching and supporting your team on complex acquisitions; personally managing strategically important dealer partnerships and negotiations; implementing the expansion strategy and ongoing development of the BYD dealer network in Germany; identifying and recruiting new dealer and investor groups; conducting market, competitor, and site analyses and producing solid business cases and management recommendations; leading selected strategic acquisition projects through to contract signing; collaborating with Sales, Aftersales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Network Operations and the European headquarters; preparing
