Senior Accountant – Hybrid rolebased in Capon Bridge, United States. Mars Veterinary Health Europe (MVH Europe) is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Finance Shared Service Centre during a period of rapid growth. You will own day-to-day accounting activities for clinic operations, lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, and prepare, review, and post journal entries in Oracle and group reporting systems (including inventory and bad debt). You will perform sales reconciliations, VAT settlements, and balance sheet reconciliations (BlackLine), partner with Controlling on financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts, and act as a trusted accounting advisor to clinic managers. You will coordinate with external accounting service providers and verify delivered services, support statutory financial statements and tax reporting with external advisors, and serve as the main point of contact for auditors, local authorities, and Group Finance stakeholders. You will ensure compliance with AniCura Group accounting standards and support the implementation of new policies, monitor local accounting and regulatory developments in cooperation with advisors and SSC leadership, and lead, coach, and support junior accountants. You will participate in ERP change and improvement projects and contribute to ad-hoc tasks and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements include 5+ years of accounting/finance experience in large, matrix organizations or Shared Service Centers, proven experience leading GL accounting processes and month/year-end closings, proficiency with Oracle ERP
