Voyant Beauty is seeking a Quality Engineer to support the assessment, improvement, and compliance of quality systems to ensure that Voyant Beauty products meet internal and customer requirements. This on-site position will collaborate with Manufacturing, Compounding, Laboratory, and Production teams to evaluate process capability, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve process control, reduce defects, and enhance efficiency. The Quality Engineer serves as a subject matter expert and change agent, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, compliance, and operational excellence across the Elkhart, Indiana site. Responsibilities include assessing and improving quality systems with analytical methods; supporting validation, qualification, and process improvement projects; conducting root-cause investigations for non-conformances or OOS results and defining rework or disposition plans; developing, implementing, and maintaining inspection methods, testing procedures, and process controls; providing training and mentorship on problem solving, data analysis, and continuous improvement techniques; preparing reports on quality performance metrics, cost of quality, and trend data to drive decision-making; supporting customer audits, internal audits, and external certification reviews (FDA, ISO); leading or participating in cross-functional improvement initiatives such as changeover reduction, batch cycle optimization, and waste reduction; maintaining working knowledge of Voyant Beauty’s GMP/GLP
