Rexel USA is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join the Mayer team remotely from Birmingham, Alabama. The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for the sales and marketing efforts with the objective of increasing profitable sales by building and maintaining high-quality relationships with new and existing customers. This role uses company digital tools and products to connect with customers, develop creative solutions, generate sales volume, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Sell, promote, and demonstrate products; clearly communicate features and benefits.
Grow business by acquiring new customers and by selling additional products to existing customers.
Collaborate with leadership, team members, and suppliers to plan, track, and implement sales strategies and develop new markets.
Assist customers with product selection utilizing internal specialists and supplier representatives.
Establish and maintain customer relationships; tailor solutions to customer objectives.
Prepare product quotations and maintain ongoing communication throughout the purchasing cycle.
Work with management, credit, and customers to resolve payment issues promptly.
Gather and report market information on pricing, products, competitors, and trends.
Participate in professional development, training, promotions, and supplier events to enhance knowledge.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and expenses; coordinate with vendors to present solutions.
Utilize digital tools and customer solutions to gain a competitive advantage.
