GovCIO is currently hiring an IT Project Manager to support modernization efforts at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Hampton, Virginia. This on-site position requires a proven track record in enterprise implementation planning, technical integration, and cross-functional coordination within a DoD-classified environment. Responsibilities include directing projects from design through testing, defining requirements and deployment plans, coordinating vendor tasks and deliverables, maintaining structured project documentation, and monitoring progress against baselines while proactively identifying risks and dependencies across multiple enterprise workstreams. The role ensures compliance with DoD cybersecurity, accreditation, and configuration management requirements and serves as a liaison between technical teams and leadership. Candidates should have TS/SCI clearance, experience managing multiple complex technical projects, familiarity with DoD lifecycle processes and RMF, and strong communication across technical and non-technical teams. Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence) is required; PMP or Agile certifications are preferred (PMI-ACP). Experience with large-scale modernization efforts or cloud transition planning and knowledge of DoD networks (NIPR, SIPR, JWICS) are advantageous. Salary range is USD 115,000.00 - USD 130,000.00 per year.
