The Controller at Lunera Health will direct all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, cash management, and fixed assets, while ensuring compliance with GAAP and HRSA requirements. This role oversees financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and audit coordination, and monitors cash flow to maintain liquidity. Responsibilities include grant and regulatory compliance (HRSA, 2 CFR Part 200 Uniform Guidance, federal grant requirements), coordination of the annual Uniform Data System reporting, and liaising with external auditors for Single Audits. The Controller will collaborate with revenue cycle leadership to monitor patient service revenue, reimbursement methodologies, and key financial performance indicators, and will supervise accounting and finance staff. A CPA designation is strongly preferred, with a master's degree in Business Administration or Finance, seven years of progressive accounting experience, and at least three years in a leadership role. Prior experience in healthcare, nonprofit organizations, or Federally Qualified Health Centers is strongly preferred. Experience with Sage Intacct and ADP is preferred.
