What You’ll Do - Serve as the primary backup for the Production Supervisor. - Follow HACCP, SOPs, and SQF programs; uphold food safety procedures. - Monitor cleanliness in the plant as required by HACCP. - Assist in production activities to ensure smooth operation and quality. - Watch and enforce safety policies and procedures. - Support, make, and implement management decisions; promote a positive work environment. - Ensure compliance with production standards and yields; communicate results to team members. - Evaluate personnel; manage overtime; train and retrain employees. - When lines aren’t running, perform various line-related tasks. - Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. - Apply problem-solving to improve situations.
