Infinity is seeking an Airborne Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test software for airborne mission systems supporting DoD programs. Responsibilities include developing software for mission, sensor, and avionics-related functionality in Linux environments, implementing secure coding practices, interfacing with hardware and operating systems, and creating Python scripts to support automated testing and data collection. The engineer will participate in hardware/software integration activities, perform unit testing and debugging, review code for quality and security, and contribute to performance tuning under real-time constraints. Collaboration with systems, hardware, cybersecurity, and program management teams is required, as is experience with GitLab and CI tools. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Fort Worth, Texas, United States, and requires DoD-related security clearance. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, with typically 3+ years of embedded/realtime/mission-critical software experience, is expected; a Secret clearance is required.
