The E-IDS program delivers mission-critical software that supports the National Airspace System (NAS). In this role, you will develop, test, deploy, and maintain modern full-stack applications and help drive operational efficiency of aviation information used across FAA operations. Location: Hybrid work arrangement at the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, United States. Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable full-stack applications for E-IDS; developing backend services using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices; building responsive front-end interfaces using Angular or similar technologies; collaborating with software architects, platform engineers, system integration, test teams, product owners, and other cross-functional colleagues; participating in Agile ceremonies; ensuring code quality, security, and maintainability; supporting CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments; creating technical documentation; analyzing and resolving defects and performance issues; and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
