CP4P, a citywide collaboration of community-based agencies across Chicago, is dedicated to reducing violence through hyper-local programming, restorative justice, trauma-informed approaches, and nonviolence. The Street Outreach Program Manager is a full-time, non-exempt position based in Chicago and working on-site as part of the Neighborhood Safety Team, alongside outreach workers, case managers, and community engagement staff. The program manager will build trust with the highest-risk individuals to help prevent shootings and retaliatory violence, and will provide linkages and accompaniment to prosocial activities, including employment, education, case management, and social services. Responsibilities include planning weekly programming, delegating tasks to team members, maintaining a caseload of 10–15 participants, coordinating program activities across focus neighborhoods (Little Village, Pilsen, Brighton Park), ensuring timely communications and reporting, and collaborating with leadership to support a cohesive, trauma-informed program. Some weekends and on-call crisis response may be required; local travel may be reimbursable. The role requires strong crisis intervention skills, cross-cultural competency, and the ability to work one-on-one and in groups with high-risk individuals to promote prosocial behavior. Qualifications include relevant experience in human services, willingness to engage with youth and communities, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and use data systems effectively.
