Senior Sourcing Engineer based in Costa Mesa, California, United States, is responsible for strategic supply network development and cost management of Anduril’s product hardware across lifecycles. You will collaborate with suppliers and cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to drive supplier selection, accelerate product development, and scale production. Key responsibilities include: selecting suppliers from an approved list; partnering with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development through concept scoping, feature trade-off analysis, should-cost modeling, and joint design development with clear statements of work; developing and consolidating a manufacturing bill of materials with Quality & Manufacturing to ramp production internally and with suppliers; owning all NPI component procurement and CAPEX; conducting value-stream mapping to optimize lead times and flexibility; completing BOM risk assessments and qualifying vendor components ahead of production; reducing complexity through commonality optimization and supplier rationalization; leading cost engineering to converge costs to the total cost of ownership across the product lifecycle; managing ad-hoc cost issues including tariffs and cost inflation.
