Senior Software Engineer – Host Access
The Apple Services Engineering Security team builds secure systems and infrastructure that power Apple services such as iCloud, Music, Siri, and the App Store. As part of the ASE Security team, you will help design and build software to meet the security needs of Apple’s services worldwide. You will develop foundational components in a secure manner to ensure our infrastructure protects data and meets Apple’s requirements. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will contribute to solving a variety of security challenges in the software foundations. You will play a meaningful role in maintaining the highest standard of security for one of the most-watched companies in the world.

In this role you will write and own software that runs on Apple’s server infrastructure to ensure best-in-class security. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and operation of services and applications for security use cases. The role involves authoring software for security authorization and access controls at scale. Apple often handles ambiguity, and you should be able to distill use cases and requirements into software applications. Collaboration is vital; you will regularly partner with your team and stakeholders. We are a small team of senior software engineers who build strong partnerships with cross-functional groups.
Minimum qualifications
- 3+ years of experience delivering high-quality enterprise software - Proficiency in Rust, C++, C, and/or Go - Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle
