This key product management role focuses on server/storage solutions and requires effective communication among remote teams and on-site product leadership to meet the roadmap. The Product Manager will collaborate with marketing and sales to promote products and engage with customers to sell these solutions. The role will contribute to product definition strategy for Supermicro's core product family, conduct vertical market research, and develop aggressive go-to-market plans. Responsibilities include supporting the Director of Solution Engineering in winning data center projects, leading data center solutions development with design and testing engineers, and managing data center and rack system projects from design to delivery. You will work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, assist in pre-sales engagements, perform market and technology research to guide solution directions, and drive revenue growth through channel and technology partnerships. Additional duties include designing rack systems (servers, switches, power distribution units, and network cabling), implementing feature improvements, and providing trainings to internal teams, partners, resellers, and customers. Qualifications include a BSEE/CS or related degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; 5+ years in chassis, computer or rack systems, or product management is a plus; deep knowledge of data center infrastructures
