The Outside Parts Sales Representative will actively pursue new sales opportunities and develop and maintain relationships with customers in the truck and heavy equipment industries. Responsibilities include prospecting for new business, account management, conducting on-site assessments of customer equipment to determine parts needs, maintaining in-depth knowledge of truck parts, preparing quotes and pricing, coordinating order fulfillment, and providing technical support as needed. The role also involves market awareness, sales reporting, and collaborating with internal sales, service, and parts teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. Territory management and travel within the assigned area are required. Requirements include proven experience in outside parts sales for trucks/heavy equipment, strong knowledge of parts and applications, excellent communication and negotiation skills, CRM proficiency, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel. Preferred qualifications include an associate's or bachelor's degree and an established network within the truck/heavy equipment industry in the Rapid City area.
