Red Hat's Core Platforms Engineering team is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile transformation and to lead multiple Scrum Teams focused on the RHEL Identity Management and Red Hat Certificate System products. This is an onsite role based in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. You will educate and run ceremonies for the teams through the four stages of development and foster an environment of co-delivery and shared responsibility across development, quality engineering, documentation, and product management. You will also provide training and publish documentation to support agile practices, help teams with estimation and continuous improvement, and work to make the teams self-sufficient in Scrum while improving channels of communication. Qualifications include demonstrated Agile project management experience with a strong Scrum background (for example PMI-ACP, PMI-PMP, Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Professional, or equivalent), outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills, mentoring and coaching ability, and a technical background to credibly lead with development teams and assess risks. A track record of delivering software to production, experience coaching teams at varying maturity levels, data-driven analysis, and proficiency with Jira are desirable. Understanding of Open Source software development and knowledge of Red Hat products, Linux, LDAP, Active Directory, and Identity Management are a plus.
