Elevance Health is seeking an Information Security Advisor – Detection Engineer to deliver strategic network security, access controls, and secure transaction/messaging solutions. The role will maintain enterprise information security policies, technical standards, guidelines, procedures, and controls to support information security in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The candidate will provide first-level engineering design and troubleshooting, act as a technical escalation on complex problems, and lead or plan implementations for access management and network security technologies. Responsibilities include developing testing plans, leading investigations and reporting of data security events, and providing system and network architecture support for information and security technologies. The role also involves maintaining incident response plans, overseeing upgrades and changes, managing enterprise vendor services, and contributing to security strategy. You may act as a key contact for setting vendor strategy, and you will design and engineer repeatable technical solutions aligned with business requirements and technology standards. Additional duties include developing support procedures and performance metrics, leading incident recoveries, and performing root cause analysis.
