The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior role responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team, with the objective of leading applications analysis and programming activities for Citi's Prime Finance business.
Responsibilities include owning and developing core components for the Prime Brokerage platform using Java and Kotlin; providing technical leadership to an agile team; driving quality and continuous improvement in SDLC and DevOps with metrics; leading system architecture, design, planning, and estimation discussions with technical teams and business stakeholders; translating complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications; maintaining project and technical documentation; proactively identifying, mitigating, and solving complex risks throughout the software development lifecycle; and managing production support while improving system performance, scalability, and reliability.
Technical experience required includes Java and Test-Driven Development; additional experience with Kotlin, Cloud Technologies (Kubernetes, OpenShift), Messaging (Kafka, Solace, TIBCO), Database/Data Store/Data Query Technologies (SQL Server, Trino, Mongo, S3), and Observability (OpenTelemetry, Elastic Stack/ELK, Grafana).
Recommended qualifications include 6–10 years of relevant Apps Development or systems analysis experience, SME in at least one are
