This hybrid role combines market research, product strategy, and cross-functional leadership to drive product lifecycle success.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Identify and analyze opportunities for new products or changes to existing products based on market needs, competition, and product performance. Prioritize opportunities and create product design specifications for engineering projects. Train internal and external stakeholders on products. - Conduct market research, lead user focus groups, collect feedback on new and existing products, and translate insights into product requirements. - Act as the main point of contact for new product ideas from employees, end users, sales, and external inventors. Work with potential vendors to evaluate offerings and establish target specifications. - Create and manage business cases for new products, collaborate with leadership to develop and maintain the product roadmap, and evaluate competitive offerings to determine where we should innovate. - Manage product lifecycles, assess profitability and market share, and decide whether to develop in-house or procure from another manufacturer. - Assist with new product roll-outs, including training sales staff and customer service, and contribute to marketing materials. Develop product manuals and training content; support marketing with features and benefits. - Support Technical Support with field produc
