IFS is seeking a FedRAMP Information Security & Observability Analyst for a hybrid role based in Itasca, Illinois. The analyst will support 24x7 operations within the Unified Support Security Operations Center (SOC) and Observability functions, monitoring security events and system health across customer environments, analyzing alerts from security and observability platforms, and triaging incidents by severity. Responsibilities include identifying information security gaps in cloud environments, implementing mitigations, staying current with cyber threats, and collaborating with resolver groups to remediate alerts. The role also covers contributing to 24x7x365 observability coverage, classifying and prioritizing events, generating regular reports on security posture and incident trends, and maintaining operational documentation. Additional duties may be assigned by the line manager. The position requires working with U.S. federal government cloud environments and is subject to customer security and compliance requirements. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and may be required to undergo background investigations (including public trust or equivalent) depending on customer needs.
