The NYC Department of Design and Construction, Public Buildings Division seeks a Senior Project Manager to manage complex capital projects from inception through construction completion and close-out. The selected candidate will review proposed projects to determine the sequence and approach, collaborate with Sponsor Agencies to ensure a clear understanding of project scope and vision, and lead project teams including design, construction management, and construction staff. Responsibilities include developing cost estimates for bid pricing, establishing deliverable dates and schedules, supervising project teams, resolving design or construction issues, negotiating with contractors and vendors, processing change orders and estimates, ensuring safety compliance, generating reports, attending meetings, monitoring contractor performance, and directing Project Managers and Junior Project Managers.
