Under the supervision of the Group Sales or Department Manager, the Team Leader directs department associates in merchandising presentation, inventory control, pricing, stocking, and customer service to ensure an excellent shopping experience. Responsibilities include guiding daily operations, staffing and coaching, preparing schedules, and executing merchandising directives while maintaining pricing and UPC integrity. The role supports achievement of departmental sales, gross margin, inventory shrinkage and payroll goals, and involves coordinating special events and service programs such as CLUB Membership and In-Store Pick-up. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 2–4 years of retail sales experience, supervisory experience a plus, and proficiency with PC-based software and POS/inventory systems.
