Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to join the East Syracuse, New York area. The successful candidate will assist the Commercial Strategic Accounts Sales organization by providing pre-sale and post-sale technical support to top-tier customers.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

Review and assist with plans and specifications to develop HVAC system solutions.
Effectively communicate requirements with customers and internal teams, and adapt to customer-specific requirements.
Provide HVAC equipment selections for new and replacement projects.
Provide technical support for the sale of commercial air conditioning systems to customers and their consulting engineers.
Seek new business opportunities by responding to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs for new and existing customers.
Coordinate across multiple functions to maintain composure in fast-paced environments and make decisions accordingly.
Support Sales Managers and Sales Coordinators with new and existing accounts and the introduction of new products.
Develop an in-depth understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and controls.
Demonstrate a self-starter attitude with strong business understanding, self-direction, and interpersonal/influencing skills to work across Carrier and with customers.
Bachelor's degree required.
5+ years of HVAC experience; ability to travel up to 5% domestically.
Preferred: Master’s degree with 3+ years’ experience; 5+ years HVAC experience including residential, light-commercial and commercial Applied Equipment.
