Google Cloud is seeking a Program Manager III for Logistics Capacity Planning to lead cross-functional, data-driven forecasting and long-range capacity planning for the transportation network supporting Google's hardware infrastructure and data centers. This on-site role based in Atlanta, Georgia, will architect foundational transportation planning infrastructure to generate high-fidelity forecast signals across warehouses, data centers, suppliers, and contract manufacturers. You will develop predictive models for long-range capacity requirements, deliberately layering in complex network and sourcing strategies, and provide strategic insights to shape transportation operations—including milk run strategies, carrier capacity planning, and right-sizing the dedicated fleet. You will establish monthly forecast reviews and a recurring planning cadence with cross-functional partners (Transportation Operations, Sourcing, Finance), communicating assumptions, risks, and strategic recommendations to achieve consensus on the network roadmap. You will author compelling business cases rooted in capacity forecast data and ROI analyses to secure critical transportation infrastructure investments and support the annual and quarterly budgeting cycles. Salary in the US ranges from $159,000 to $231,000 USD, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
