We are seeking a proactive Part-qualified General Ledger Accountant to own general ledger accounting for key entities across Western Europe on a 15-month fixed-term contract, working closely with finance partners and external auditors to strengthen balance sheet integrity and support timely, accurate reporting for the group. Responsibilities include owning general ledger accounting for the relevant entities, leading the monthly close, and ensuring transactions are recorded in line with company policy and local requirements; driving process improvements across entities; delivering monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting in line with local GAAP and group standards; collaborating with external auditors to provide schedules and working papers; and partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure complete and accurate accounting entries and continuous improvement within the finance function.
