The position supports sales activities related to Poles projects by analyzing proposals, preparing project quotes, and developing sales orders for new projects. Responsibilities include: creating accurate quotes and cost estimates; entering and verifying sales orders (quantities, items, pricing, ship-to address, sales tax, FOB); entering new purchase orders and ensuring quote and PO match; creating new items in MAS as needed for sales orders; maintaining pricing; preparing invoice requests for reps and customers; completing sales orders and truck schedules; interpreting engineering specifications; interfacing with customers face-to-face and by phone; keeping supervisor informed of issues; cross-training and supporting the production scheduler and shipping coordinator; conducting monthly inventories; assisting others with information from sales, credit, accounting, and production; writing up and sending out OFI, CM and DMs when necessary; participating in recurring customer meetings for quotes, orders, or updates.
