This role is based in our Boston office with a hybrid schedule: onsite Tuesday through Friday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. You will help build and operate a cloud-native, globally distributed Kubernetes platform and the services that run on it. You will emphasize reliability, clear documentation, and tooling that improves developer experiences. Responsibilities include building robust Kubernetes platforms, applying cloud-native SRE best practices, writing performant and maintainable code, debugging distributed systems, and documenting self-service workflows. You will scope and plan work, influence architectural evolution across the platform, and support engineers to improve reliability and cost efficiency. What you bring: 5+ years of platform engineering experience, experience deploying Kubernetes clusters (AKS, EKS, or similar) in production at scale, and proficiency with Azure and/or AWS. Strong programming skills (Python, Go, C#, Java, etc.), experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi), observability tooling (APM, logs, metrics), and building tooling to simplify SaaS/PaaS operations.
