Senior Quality Engineer responsibilities include providing leadership for the development and deployment of assigned business functions at a regional level. The role manages operational process improvement through metrics, problem identification, root cause analysis and corrective action, and develops basic to complex processes and process maps. It supports effective local and regional operational performance by driving continuous improvement and ensuring the design and implementation of metrics, quality plans, statistical process controls, and internal audits with limited direction from Quality Management. The role also plans resource optimization, coordinates cross training, and mentors staff for qualification. It ensures accreditation and regulatory compliance by planning and conducting internal audits to ISO standard requirements, as well as local, regional, international scheme requirements, and ISO 27001 (and related business audits). It facilitates the resolution of non-conformances by identifying owners and applying root cause analysis and corrective actions. It reads and follows the UL Code of Conduct and adheres to security practices. Performs other duties as assigned.
