Sparksoft is seeking a mid-level DevOps Engineer to drive automation and cloud-native initiatives to improve system efficiency, reliability, and scalability. This role operates within a fast-paced Agile DevOps team and involves all phases of the Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

Required Experience:

Participate in DevOps initiatives and develop automation and cloud-native solutions for government clients.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible across AWS services.
Design, develop, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and container-based platforms.
Use F5 BIG-IP (LTM/APM) to configure traffic routing, access control, and load balancing; write and troubleshoot iRules.
Ensure CMS security, compliance, and governance requirements; support application operations, participate in on-call rotations, and maintain high availability.
Execute patches, upgrades, deployments, and continuity-of-operations activities across environments.
Maintain comprehensive documentation, including architectural diagrams and runbooks.
Collaborate with architects and product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Implement best practices in DevSecOps, performance engineering, and operational excellence.
Strong AWS cloud infrastructure experience (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, S3, Route53, EFS, VPC, ELB/NLB, AWS Serverless, AWS KMS; automation/configuration best practices).
