Everforth ECS is seeking a Software Automation Tester to join our Stafford, VA office. The Everforth ECS team provides focused agile software development and maintenance for a mission-critical government application. The current client-server application is built with .NET and supports a database repository of DNA profiles from individuals, unsolved crime scene evidence, and missing persons, enabling laboratories to compare DNA profiles electronically and aiding the identification of suspects and unidentified remains. The Software Automation Tester will develop and execute automated tests, integrate them into GitLab pipelines, and expand, improve, and maintain our test automation framework. This role requires a self-starting, proactive candidate who can serve as a trusted resource on business logic and system architecture. The candidate will collaborate with DevOps Engineers and Developers to ensure the application meets user needs, business requirements, and scalability goals. Team members are expected to work cross-functionally and take collective ownership to deliver high-quality results. Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000.
