HR Generalist is a full-time, on-site role located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The role supports manufacturing operations and works alongside the HR team to apply HR expertise across benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy administration, recruitment, employment law compliance, and ensuring adherence to company policies. Key responsibilities include leading and supporting recruitment for exempt and nonexempt staff and interns, coordinating new associate orientations and onboarding activities, maintaining HRIS records and generating reports, assisting with company communications, coordinating associate events and wellness activities, acting as the first HR contact for compensation, payroll, benefits, employment verifications, and related inquiries, administering site-level events and benefits enrollment, tracking various leave programs (FMLA, STD, LTD, personal leaves), supporting implementation of HR policies, reinforcing the associate handbook, assisting with leave administration, and maintaining regulatory compliance. The role requires an associate degree in HR, business administration, or a related field, at least 3 years of HR experience, knowledge of FLSA, EEOC, ADA, and FMLA, strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
